The Association Franco-Américaine de Design / Ecole Parsons à Paris reserves the right to change without notice any matter contained in this publication, including but not limited to tuition, fees, policies, degree programs, names of programs, course offerings, academic activities, academic requirements, facilities, faculty, and administrators. Payment of tuition or attendance at any classes shall constitute a student's acceptance of the administration's rights as set forth above.
A dispute is currently pending between AFAD/Parsons Paris School of Art & Design (the "Paris school") and The New School which may, depending on its outcome (1) cause a change in the name of the Paris school as of the end of the 2010-11 academic year and/or (2) result in entering students matriculating as from the 2011-12 academic year not being eligible to receive New School degrees for attendance at the Paris school. A further notice will be published as soon as this dispute has been decided.
Regardless of the result of this dispute, under a teach-out agreement with The New School approved by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education on September 4, 2008, students commencing matriculation in a degree program at Parsons Paris starting from Fall 2008 through Spring 2011
are eligible to receive The New School degrees upon completion of the Parsons Paris program.
